Wrong about what exactly? If you're breaking form, you shouldn't be pulling the weight. End of story. There isn't even up for debate.
What's 'form'? People deadlift differently. Stop trying to shoehorn everyone into your own little view of what's appropriate and what's not. Most importantly, stop the Internet jealousy because it's beyond puerile.
