Hi,
I bought a pair of vintage Brooks English for Brooks Brothers black blucher mens shoes yesterday, and even though they were marked "8E" for size, I like to do my own research, especially because they do not look wide at all to me. Also, the handwritten markings inside do not correspond to any sizes that I am aware of. There is an E inbetween numbers but I am not one to assume anything. The measurements are as follows: The insole length is 10 3/4" the outers sole length is 11 3/8". There is an imprint of a foot in the interior and that imprint measures 10 1/2." The widest part of the outer sole is 4". Here is the pic of the writing inside the shoe... Thank you!!! - Nicole
