Not the best looking JLs I've seen, but not bad looking. I personally don't like rubber soles, but they'd be your shoes and you should have the soles you like

HarleyBob I would go for Vass MTO - Vass is about 20% less and with lasted trees thrown in, not seconds, and any colour and skin u like.

and they're hand - made :)

and their single monk is the bomb IMO

Those shoes are really ugly - meaning both the lobbs in the op and the vass above. And I'm a big fan of both marques

Go for a Jermyn II,Vale or other classic models from JLOBB.

They're available on special orders...

Go on the website and look at the new monks on offer.

+1. There are much nicer options for monks from Lobb. The shoes in the pics look like something from Alden.

Petrus, I have Lobbs I bought new in D width. They fit like a narrow US D, sort of like the PA last from AE. Not even close to a B.

As should be noted by all, its not good to generalise as UK width markings vary with maker - eg while UK F = US D in Church's you will find Crockett and Jones E fitting means the same. Ditto Edward Green.

Extra confusion when the sizing is done for UK made shoes for US market, not to mention variation in lasts
