I've been on a hunt lately to find a nice 3/4 length trench coat but it's harder than I thought. My budget is approximately $300 and I'm looking for something like this:

The picture is from Indochino and I'd prefer not purchase something online without trying it on first unless I'm able to return or exchange.

I plan on wearing the coat with dress pants, shirt, tie, and maybe a sweater. Anything idea what stores I can check out? I'm located in Los Angeles.

What size do you wear?

I have a Burberry trench that I purchased last year on sale and never wear it.

J.Crew has one online for about $200. If you have a store near you try on the single-breasted Sutherland, as the double-breasted fits similarly.

Are you saying there's a double-breasted Sutherland trench? I haven't seen it. (I recently purchased the single-breasted Sutherland trench.)

Wow, I hadn't seen that one... at 150 I would have definitely considered it over the Sutherland trench. I guess I could get one of these too... I still need a DB trench. The color's nice too.
