Dunno if it'd be too expensive for what may be a single use, but those stappy Jil Sander sandals like the ones SoCal2NYC had look pretty badass.

Really odd coincidence...I was in the J. Crew store at Rockefeller Center yesterday afternoon and was checking out the seersucker suit (not too shabby, decent fit OTR) and I overheard one SA on the phone talking to a customer about a "khaki suit for a wedding on a boat". I thought to myself, well the khaki suit to my immediate left was kinda heavy and a bit "dark" for a wedding which I assumed would be in warmer temperature, so I suggested to the SA that the linen khaki suit (seemed a bit lighter in color and much lighter in weight) would likely do better for a wedding on a boat. Don't know if she took the advice to the customer or not as I was leaving the store at the moment.

Sorry to intrude...please continue

I would let him decide for himself - none of your business really. Unless of course you want him to choose a wedding outfit you might wear....
