Hello. I’m getting married or something close to it. We will have a reception and ceremony. The event will be at noon in an open event centre with gardens, trees, and everything.
im having a suit made for ovation. My idea is something not as formar al usual for weddings. I’m even thinking on not wearing a tie.
the thing is that I’d like to wear a lapel flower -in my country grooms usually wear them- and I wanted so,e advice on this topic. I’m attaching a picture of the fabric of my suit. Any idea or advice on choosing the right one?

As someone who often wears lapel flowers even in regular life, I would just advise that you avoid those prom-night mini-arrangements that are attached with a safety pin. Wear a proper single flower, stem through the lapel button hole and secured on the back with a loop which your tailor can easily add. (Or you can sew the loop yourself, there are many online videos--no one sees it so it doesn't need to be perfect.)

For a wedding I would just go with a white carnation. Simple is best. Don't out-shine the bride.

Thx! Now I know what’s that loop in one of my jacket for.

Any opinion on Fort Belvedere silk flowers?
