So I'm going to my pharmacy school's annual banquet on Saturday, and I've decided to wear my grey three-piece suit. Students will be the majority there so it's not TOO formal. I've singled out 4 possible combination of shirts and ties, but I'm also open to suggestions since I have most colors in my closet:

1. Light blue shirt, navy tie with orange stripes and an orange pocket square
2. Light blue shirt, navy tie with red stripes and a white pocket square
3. White shirt, burgundy tie with navy stripes and a white pocket square
4. Light purple shirt, striped purple tie and a white pocket square

(disregard the sloppy tie knots and pocket square fold, pics taken for comparison)

OK, first of all, an hour is not too long to wait for a response. Being impatient isn't going to get you any love.

The shirts on the bottom row are terrible. They have awful anemic collars. So that leaves the blue shirt. Wear whichever of the navy ties is the least-loud, and the white pocket square.

And please dear God tell me the belt is hanging out the bottom like that because these are quick shots and that you will not be wearing a belt or will not be able to see it at all when you wear this for real. Those pants look like they are so low that your underwear would be hanging out.

Agree with arav. Also don't show so much pocket square. Don't button the bottom button of the vest either.

Sorry about that, somehow I felt like it was gone off the main page. And yes, these are just quick shots...I'm a newbie but not that unaware :) I would never have realized the thing about the collars, so thanks for pointing that out.

@brokencycle, I'm gonna go with a TV fold. Like I said, I just threw that in to take the pic.
