Blue or gray jeans and almost any non-black corduroy pants.

Even I am looking for a fashionable pair of boots for my boyfriend, how to buy one?

I would first look to see what type of looks he is most comfortable with as far as what he already has in his wardrobe. The type of clothing he already have should help defind the kind of boot would work best for him. Too many times in the past I had a SO buy me a pair of footwear that did not do with anything I had.

So, if he wear casual type of clothes then you need to look for a boot that compliments kind of look. Alternatively, if he wears suits or dress slack then you'll need to pick a boot that he can wear with those kind of clothing. A Chelsea boot can be a good compromise between casual and dress. The one the OP posted seem to me too clunky looking. Heck, my jump-boots in the Army looked better than those boots.
