OK i have a navy blazer I want to pair up with jeans. The wash on the jeans known as "brown sugar" the style is "tyler" http://www.paperdenim.com Now would it be OK to wear black shoes? If it was an all navy suit I'd think a dark oxblood wingtip would work but that doesnt look right with jeans. So is what I am thinking going to work? Or will it look wrong? And for that matter what about belt color....

it pretty much is a navy suit, so try mid- to dark-brown shoes or boots - in suede, if you've got it.

and if you have any doubt about the belt color, match the shoes.

Perhaps some of the Blue or Navy shoes on Yoox would work for you. There were a few pairs of green that could be nice as well.

Like the jeans-- I recently blew out my favorite pair of jeans, which are no longer available (I MAY have found them as old stock at a store in NYC.....if so, I might buy two pair so I can make them last as long as possible!!). I haven't tried Paper Denim yet, but might check it out this fall after seeing your pair, in various washes:

Does the navy blazer have blue/ black buttons (or brass/ silver?)? I wear that with either black chelsea boots, or loafers with hardware (in just about any color). Also, recommend a wild striped shirt with the outfit to shake things up (as opposed to just a white shirt, unless it is a slim cut and a little rumpled)

Here are the shirts I'd probably wear with it, if it proves of interest to ya--

Paper Denim are great mid-price range jeans. They aren't as nice as R&R which is the only premium denim I buy but they are easily as good as Mavi. They are also a really soft well broken in denim.

Blue buttons. Its a Versace Classic jacket I have from a suit I picked up a year or so ago.
