I have learned a lot about shoe construction and other nuances here, which lead to a greater appreciation of a fine shoe. The fun part about shoes is most people dont notice anything unusual...but the wearer gets a silent satisfaction. Unfortunatly now its difficult to settle for average...as my mentor used to say!

Looks great Shikar. Thanks for sharing. Weren't you the one that started the GVH frenzy not too long ago? A true SF shoe convert.

Very nice upgrade. However, depending on the shoe, one can do nicely with your prior brands. p.s. I am much more scared of the bug than of Lee's dog.

Thanks, the older shoes are still very wearable, but these are a more pleasureable wear.
