Going to Mumbai for a week over Christmas and would like to find a good tailor where I can get measured, have a suit made, and perhaps have suits made to order when I'm back in Europe.

Are there any members who live in Mumbai or who have experience with the tailors in the area - most resources I can find are at least 5 years old and most older. I'm looking for a good balance between craftsmanship and lower cost.

I have done some research and come up with a list of tailors that the internet recommends - I imagine these are slanted towards the most prestigious and hence expensive tailors in town:

Most frequently recommended:
Kachin's
Raymond Made to Measure
Yaseen's

Less frequently recommended:
Herringbone & Sui (expensive?)
Osman Abdul Razak
Akshata Bhojania
Kings
Sarah & Sandeep (expensive?)

As a second question, I'm considering looking for suit fabrics in Mumbai and came across the Mangaldas Market - is this a good place to look for fabrics, are there other places, and what should I keep in mind when looking at no-name or perhaps even counterfeited products?

Thank you in advance! <3
