I am getting married in 2018 and I want a Tailcoat Tuxedo for the wedding. Any vendors that sell MTM,Bespoke or even OTR Tailcoat Tuxedos?

Errrrr ... a tailcoat is a tailcoat, for white tie. A 'tuxedo' or dinner jacket is the less formal black tie variant that is more or less in the style of a lounge suit jacket. I don't believe there's any such thing as a 'tailcoat tuxedo'.

There is no such thing as a "tailcoat Tuxedo".

There is 'black tie' which is evening dress (tuxedo to Americans) with a hand tied black bow tie or

'white tie', which is a tailed evening coat, stiff white wing collar and shirt, waistcoat with a band tied white now tie. This should properly be worn with opera pumps and not day to day shoes of any type.

These items are not a mix and match child's dressing up basket. They are specific forms of dress which many (but not you its seems) properly understand. Were I to see you at the reception thus attired, I would consider the place pretentious in the extreme and order two bottles of Bollinger from you.... If I knew in advance that you were dressing thus, I'd probably come in a Mickey Mouse outfit as I would rightly assume that the dress code is 'fancy dress'. Curious for a wedding but the happy (?) couple are entitled to suggest such a thing and it would be churlish in the extreme not to follow their wishes despite any personal views.

In answer to your question - you need to see someone who knows what they are doing and has experience. the only person who I know that might be able to assist you in the RI area is Marc Striesand. His office number is 401 453 0025

Good luck. And don't worry about not knowing the correct terminology. everyone started somewhere, even this posting above.

We can make a tailcoat and usually make about one or two a year, its a real devil of a task finding the shirts and detachable collars here in the US, so order in advance from Budd in London. As for Bespoke vs MTM and off the rack, I think with this item you would be best served doing either an off the rack or going bespoke, the panels make them tricky to alter and MTM can't really hack it, I think its all or nothing with them really.
