Staying in Sunny Isles this weekend for a few nights. I don't mind heading to South Beach for a meal. Any ideas?

THere was a recent thread on this, or a series of posts on Restaurant Recommendations.

I like Chef Allen's in Avondale, and Joe's Stone Crab is a must-go.

It's Aventura, not Avondale.....There are too many good restaurants to list, it would be easier if you had mentioned the type of cuisines you like.

Im basically open to all types. Wouldnt mind a good Paella spot. Puerto Sagua wasn't bad but Id like to try another place if possible. So far I have reservations @ Scarpetta and Barton G. (i know, I know).

Tap Tap Haitian restaurant. Ate there 2 weeks ago (as well as puerto sagua for lunch)...just do it.

Wasn't sure quite what to expect haitian food to be but it was quite tasty. It is nestled over in south beach sort of off the main roads by a couple of blocks.
