I'm going to need a new bag for school, since I just got a 17" macbook pro, which won't fit in my old bag. Any suggestions?

Apple.com has a few selections for that specific model. Whatever you decide on getting I recommend also getting a screen slip cover.

Though some people complain about the price along with the fact they're made in China, I think my Jack Spade bag (Warren Street Field Bag) is extremely nice. Well-made with good hardware, weather proof, good-looking with room for all the crap I lug around. So yeah, couldn't ask for more in a bag.

The JCrew waxwear messenger bag fits Apple 17" laptops perfectly. I use one for my 15" and have no problems with it. Personally I stay away from the techie looking bags with air bags, and seat belts... just be careful when you have my portable in it. Ideally I'd like a nice leather one like BR offers, but I don't want to spend $200 on a messenger bag ATM. http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/product...atId=cat104070 The stores carry khaki and dark brown colors even though they aren't shown here.

**** a Bunch of jackspade and jcrew. I'm very dissapointed in sf right now-those sugestions are way too safe and blase'. here, I got you topped. The old leathersmith for prada has started their own company. the details are minimal, and the leather is matted and stiff.

Funny you say this and than post some of the most achingly boring bags I've ever seen in my life.
