Men's fashion in Montreal

Hey there forum - I am a young professional in Montreal looking to keep his wardrobe up to date. For many items (shoes, ties, pocket squares) I have found suitable online retailers that deliver quality at a reasonable price point. But from the suiting side of things, I can't seem to find something middle-of-the-road in Montreal without going overboard ($3K bespoke) or being ripped off (Harry Rosen) - are there any quality tailors/shops in the city which provide for a good balance? Thanks!

drive to woodbury commons in NY. The style in Montreal either caters to 20 something year old extras from Jersey Shore, or rich old men who can afford to pay the ridiculous markup of Harry Rosen.

Seriously, right now there are some sales and good deals to be found at Harry Rosens and Holts. Suite like Zegna, Canali, and Samuelsohn can be had at fair prices now. some thing at a shop across from Harry's. If you are comfortable with online check KJBecket, Flannel Fashion as they many good deals also.

Giorgio on Sherbrooke has fully canvassed suits under his own label. Made offshore but he has a deconstructed one on display to show the fabrication details. These are in your price range and he always seems to be having a sale and I've seen them for around $750. Fairly nice fabrics.

L'Uomo on Peel has a 50% off sale right now and they carry quality makers. But their retail is way out of your range but maybe on sale who knows.

In the past I have found good deals at l'equipe uomo on Partenopea, Belvest and Castangia. They are a couple of doors down from L'Uomo on Peel. Albert always will throw a deal at you. I suspect some of their stuff is a couple of season's old but nonetheless is nice.

None of these shops are old mannish nor "Jersey Shoresque.

Hilarious - I am either a 38 or 36, depending on the line. I always hesitate with Napoli - I've heard very mixed things about them and getting "liquidation" e-mails ever day is a red flag in my head. I have two blazers and a pair of trousers from Napoli but the prices vary by 250% on a monthly basis. They are also a bit pushy.

Of the shops that gsugsu mentioned, whats the price range. Also, anyone ever heard of Arthurinc on Crescent?

I'm 31 and I've been a customer of Arthur Inc and G. Tonino. I'm also not an old man of indiscriminate wealth nor a Jersey Shore extra.

Both are perfectly reasonably priced for the quality you get and I cannot recommend them enough.

Both shops only deal in custom / bespoke work. So if you're looking for a quick fix, it won't be the best bet. But if you have some time, they are both well worth a visit.
