So regarding that 15 mm in length for foot movement...

I have wide feet, so I ordered sizes up. I'm generally a 10.5ee in AE, my feet measure 272mm long, L is 102, and R is 105, so I ordered the navy chukkas in 10UK in the hiro last, which is 105mm wide, and 298mm long. Is that going to be too long? am I screwed?

It is quite common for people with wide feet to order larger sizes (and thus longer shoes) compared to what they should wear given their foot length.

For example, with a foot length of 272 mm, your reference size is UK 9 / US 10. As you can see, your AE are already half a size longer than ideal.

The Meermin are going to be one full sizes "too long", strictly speaking. That means the shoes are about 8.5 mm longer than ideal. It's probably not that big a deal as long as you don't make it a habit.

That doesn't mean the Meermin's will feel comfortable, though.

Hey guys,
Does anyone know what is going on with Meermin ? I have ordered before (last year) from them a pair of Tan Country Calf Bluchers and im very satisfied with the price/quality, but it took a month and a half to receive them. Now i specifically asked before i order the Plum Museum Calf Linea Maestro if they have in stock my size. They said yes. I ordered on the 20th of January. Still nothing - one week ago they said they are checking and still no answer... Its a shame that this happens, i cant understand how can they be so messy!? Specially since i see that people are buying and they have sales. Anyway, ill give them one more week, if not, i will look for something else. Has anyone else encountered these issues lately ?

Anyone else still not get billed for the Galways yet? I'm sure that it's not the case, but it feels like I'm the only one.

Is there a guide on measuring foot length?

Is there a guide on measuring foot length?

  1. Stand upright.
  2. Measure from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe.

That's it, basically.

So, you either need someone to help you, or you build a kind a measurement devise yourself. It's not that complicated: Two pieces of paper, a measurement tape, and a pencil.

For width, is it just the widest distance between your foot?

And what should be the space (mm) between your foot size and the shoe length mm that meermin gives you?
