New Sutor Mantellassi Monks in dark brown size 12 (45). Too big for me-I usually wear 11s. Bought them at Morris and sons in Chicago. $420 shipped.

New Gucci lace-ups in size 10.5 $190 shipped- I usually wear 11 in Mantellassis and these fit just fine. Just don't like the style. There is a small emblem at the bottom of the laces that says "Gucci". They come off easily if you don't want them there (they are 2 very small pins). These retail for $585.

2 pairs of Bruno magli boots size 10-too small for me. The suede ones worn once and the leather ones worn a handful of times. Both for $70 shipped (not each-you get both pairs for a total of $70). they retail for about $280 each.

New Santoni black loafers in 11.5. Shipped for $110. Too big for me. The orange sock color came off a little bit when I took the tags off.

other than their classic bit loafer,


that Gucci laceup is the best shoe I have encountered by them so far.

i have a pair of those in black and they are very similar to U last in toe box shape and very similar to the weymouth in style as well.

it is a very nicely made shoe, the cognac color is nicer than the black, i got the black because they did not have cognac at that time.

these run somewhat true, as gorge said, he wears a 11 in mantellassi which in my opinion runs a bit large, so his foot wears true in these.

i wear a 10 in this laceup . my foot size is 10 .



i have seen these shoes on sale at cabazon for 300 USD. which is a great deal if i knew it.

at 190 this is a steal almost.

Mantellasii monk: 13 and 1/8 x 4 1/2
Mantellassi lace: 12 and 3/4 x 4 and 5/8

I also have that same brown gucci. My shoes must be UK sized. They are 10.5 and they fit well on my 11.5 feet. It is one of the better styled shoes from Gucci.
I paid $200 on ebay last year and that was money well spent.

I also have the gucci in brown, they are wonderfull shoes, and looks like I got a steal on them. I paid only 90 bucks for them @ off saks, when they had buy one get the other half off.....
