Anyone have any experience with purchasing a coat here? I'm in the market for a new everyday wool/cashmere topcoat. I happened by the store/showroom at King and Spadina and tried on a very nice navy topcoat from the store's house label.

Coats are made in Canada with Italian wool/cashmere blend. It fit perfect in the shoulders over my suit jacket but needed a little nip in the waist for shaping - which they said they could take care of in the store. Price was 349.99.

Any comment on construction or durability from this maker?

They've been around forever and advertize in the weekend papers. I too would appreciate some feedback as they are one of the places that I have been thinking about checking out for a new coat.

At that price whats the worry? You can't expect wonders but if it fits and you like the material buy it.

I've been in there once looking for a wool overcoat for my mother. It's like a huge warehouse with lots of selection.

If it's everyday wear I suppose at that price it's okay. I believe the designer works out of the second floor of the shop. Having spoken to him briefly last year he seemed very accommodating when it came to alterations.
