At the local discounters I found many pairs of PRL 381s in a raw finish, but with crinkles and crumpling at the knees, ankles, and lap. The back pockets are the kind with a horizontal line and two small vertical tacks about 2 inches apart. No hidden rivets, double seam finishing, the rest is normal.
Curiously, there are also 2 rear belt loops right next to each other, a lot like the SExIH cyclist jeans.
Anyway, they fit me very well and are down to $50 from a MSRP of $115.
Searching the internet for these jeans yields absolutely nothing, so does anyone know about these jeans? Are they worth it at that price, or should I wait for a drop/haggle?
There was also another pair that was identical, but this one was selvage and had ~1.5 cm embroidered birds on the waistband, lap, upper seat, and coming up from the hems. It was $20, but it looked like coffee or soda had been spilled in them
