I am a father of a 2 year old and I am usually at work. I want to impress my lady, so I thought i would ask the SF forums for advise. Working with a small budget, where would I begin to look for classy and stylish clothes? What types of styles are out there that complement a business casual and caring father style?

just like what David8 says "big things have small beginnings"
I recommend starting with accessories. start small like a pair of cuff links. a nice handsome bag for work adds style to a simple wardrobe. A fedora worn with a suit will surprise you how it will change your confidence. Finally, a great pair of shoes, though I wouldn't know how to walk on your shoes, since I'm a single guy, "I do know how it feels to walk on a pair of great shoes"- Carrie Bradshaw

If you're trying to find your style what worked for me is going through a bunch of collections, lookbooks and what are you wearing today threads and saving all the looks I liked and then I looked at what was similar or what pieces I really loved and worked from there.

If you want me to just find a style for you that will impress your boss and your misses you should just look at Jil Sander's collections and start dressing like that.
