Looking for a classic polo without a logo

Thanks! The style is right, but I'm concerned that a size S may be too big on me if the cut is full. My chest is 37" and I'm looking for a trimmer fit, but not tight. They unfortunately don't have a proper size guide on their website.

I can tell you that LL Bean runs big and boxy in everything. I have a couple of their sweatshirts and pocket t-shirts. In both instances, I probably should have sized down. OTOH, a hot water wash and spin in the dryer seemed to help both a bit.

+1 for Sunspel and for Lands' End. If you need cheaper than Lands' End, well, I can't help you.

J Crew pique polo is logo-less, made from a hearty fabric, similar cut to classic PRL. Oh, and they’re not expensive.
I would have mentioned Kent Wang, Spier & McKay, Berg & Berg, Natalino, Anglo Italian and others in that class but they’re a bit more refined, less prep, than PRL.

I'm just puzzled at how nobody has tried replicating the most quintessential polos—PRL and Lacoste—without a logo. I figured there had to be something out there, but I guess not.
You know lacoste gator appliques are nothing like rl ponies? The gator comes of with ease. I've done it. It's nothing and no marking is left behind.

They kindly provided the measurements, which are too big for me. Unfortunately their only trimmer polo is a much different style.
This can be easily solved by a tailor. Taking in the sides is cheap. I have a 8-10" drop. So I just get a polo that I like based on chest and shoulders fit, then a tailor tweaks the rest. It might cost $15-25, can't quite remember.

Example: I have a couple of Tommy Bahama polos, which are definitely not made for my body type. For most brands, I wear size Medium. In Tommy Bahama, I get Small, take in the sides, and it fits perfectly.

Banana Republic pique polos are probably the most similar to RL sans logo. Mine have held up well for about a decade now.

Although not a pique fabric, I have a new love affair with Spier's knit polos. I personally like the generous retro collars and ribbed hem which hugs the waist and gives a more V silhouette. They are very comfortable in this nasty NYC humidity. If you're going to tumble dry them, size up. They shrink.

I have been wearing Ralph Lauren polos for years. I love their classic style and high quality, and they don't wear out after 15 years. Their variety of colours and fits is superb. But I'd really love a piqué polo just like them in the same style and same level of quality at a similar price, just without a logo. What are my options?
The Portofino Collection from Collars & Co., is exactly what you’re looking for. Check them out

I'd be keen to split this discussion into "high quality" polos like normal RL polos, and higher quality no-logo polos.

I keep hearing Sunspel and I love my Sunspel polos, but would love to hear what other lines match Sunspel sea island and are less overpriced.

Funny you say that, I removed the gator too once -- easy to do. The person who gifted me the shirt wanted to kill me.

I haven’t worn a RL polo is quite some time so not sure how the fit/look compares but Sid Mashburn makes very solid pique polos with a full sewn-on collar. This helps the collar frame your face and allows it to stand up properly if you wear it with a jacket. A few colors are on sale right now as well.
