I have the saddle shoes in suede. Fit pretty true to size, seem to be put together OK. The leather's not very high quality, but nothing about them is obviously terrible. The shape is pretty clunky, but that's the idea.

Comparing it to my medium J.Crew Military Mockneck Cardigan from last year, it fits about the same or perhaps a bit slimmer (I'm 6'2", 210#). It's not designer slim. This is still Bean after all.

The only sweater I have from j.crew is like 10 years old in mid-weight cotton....this fits slimmer than that.

That being said, for a medium, it really doesn't fit that close (thanks to the people who suggest I go medium...plenty of length in the sleeves). The thickness, especially where the layers overlap to button definitely does not have a slimming effect

I am hoping that when I first wash it and block it out to dry, I can improve the shape a little bit (I'd prefer a little more taper)

Guys, their stuff DOES NOT fit slim unless you size way down. Time to give up the dream of this being a "fashion" line.

This. It's L.L. Bean. Think J. Crew fits and you're pretty close.
