That style was around last year, but this one looks a lot slimmer than the one I posted here, and the one currently up on Atelier's site.

Be careful with sleeve measurements on that piece, as it is very long the last time I checked.

Black lamb ones can be regularly found for like $1000-1250 ish. Either end-of-season sales or on eBay.

I am pretty sure that black one with silver hardware is in calf. It looks like the same version as I have.

No idea, no complaints with mine. And it's one of the "less desirable" coated versions. I've also owned calf ones, YMMV.

Why are lamb 5 zips looked upon so poorly?


I don't think they are. I've owned both calf and lambskin versions and prefer the lamb. I find the softer material gives the jacket a rounder, more casual shoulder line, whereas calf can be kind of boxy.
