I like the Tylor... or to be more specific, I’d like the Tylor with the hem of the James.

Really wish that the Tyler had zips on the handwarmer pockets. Handwarmers without zippers are a pet peeve.

Damn, this is pretty close to a dream jacket for me.

I think the hem gives it some needed weight at the lower half to balance out the collar. You know, some visual interest.

But are you saying the pockets don't have zips? What the hell? Zips on the sleeve cuffs, but not the pockets? That doesn't make sense.

Thinking hard about that FCL Eric Jacket.. I guess I have until Sunday..

Assuming it's not going to break the bank and it's an ideal fit, go for it.

I got a Stoffa suede 002 a year ago. From the first time I saw it online (somewhere) I loved the thing and got sized up in NYC, so much so that I'll get around to ordering 4 more. Actually, it wasn't love at first sight: I first thought the collar might be too large, but since getting my jacket it couldn't be more suitable. And it was pricey.

Contrast this with my more than decade long viewing pleasure of Aero. I want an Aero, but not a single one of their offerings gives me the wow factor. So many offerings, yet never enough 'pop' factor for any one model.

My feelings about the Eric (and James) from FCL gives me the same enthusiasm as Stoffa. That collar.... it never before dawned on me how such subtle attention can go into a collar. It resembles Himel's Frobisher collar which I believe they refer to as a 1940s-style drop-W-shaped collar, whatever that means. As far as I can tell, they (Himel and FCL) slightly curve the end of the collar, though I could be wrong. RRL used to do this with their older denim shirt offerings, but not the newer ones and the difference is obvious and makes the shirt.

I would jump on the Eric myself but not with those emaciated sizes - if a jacket isn't at least 25" pit to pit, it isn't going to fit (unless it has quite a large armscye/armholes).

Oh and by the way guys.. if yall like the FCL but not sure about the mismatching leather texture, you can always look into Y'2 or Double Helix. From the aged pictures i've seen thus far. They both also crease and fade very well.

I have experience with both brands if anyone is interested, I am more than happy to link you to a reputable store.
