That is a nice spread on the collar; easy to wear as well for most guys. I'm quick to dismiss anyone who has hard and fast rules about the amount of spread on a collar. I've heard some people say a fat, round head doesn't look right with a spread collar. Sounds good in theory, but it isn't necessarily true; i've seen guys like this that look great with a cutaway collar.

i know Mr. Annan is almost always turned out in Brioni, and the shirt may be of the brand (likely bespoke, they keep his paper patterns in the milan bespoke location, i believe). However, the suit actually looks like Kiton to me-- given the shoulders and the space left between the lapel peaks and the collar, as kiton likes to do i think.

despite the man's reputation, i have always considered him among the world's best turned out gents, and as a BIG fan of brioni myself, he represents the brand much better than the frumpy-Trump or even Brosnan's Bond, in my opinion.

Kofi may wear those suits in NYC, but he would probably wear more Ghanaian type attire in his native country. He would be sweating big time if he wore a suit in that weather. That is, unless he stays inside all the time in an AC office. Besides, I think his people would want him to look more Ashanti and less western.

And, Kofi merely means he was born on Friday.

Maybe he wears linen or khaki or shot Dupioni silk suits.
