Klauss Boehler? Any information about them?

A search of Style Forum reveals nothing and a quick Google search shows Klauss Boehler sold at a lot of mid- to upper-level Canadian stores. The reason why I ask is I was at a local haberdasher today and picked up a Klauss Boehler two-ply cashmere sweater for CAD$260 (about US$230). The quality is very good for the price.

At any rate, anyone familiar with this brand and have info about them?

I know the brand its alright. I'm not overlly impress with them as a company we had some problems with them, but a nice product non the less. It is mid level and i would say its a step below canali, more on the Ike Behar level. $230 doesn't sound bad but i'm guessing it was made in China or somewhere off shore? If its nice and you like it then not a bad buy.

For a while, Nordstrom sold Klauss Boehler dress shirts, which were bought specifically for one of their sales. From the ones I saw, I found the patterns to be insipidly designed, and the materials to be nothing special.

For what it's worth, I picked up one of their dress shirts on sale for CA$99... the material (100% cotton, but not a high thread count) and construction are nothing to write home about, but it's incredibly easy to iron for some reason. On the negative side, the body is huge.

Yes, it was made in China. Not something I usually truck with, but it was nice enough for me to overlook this time.

They have the shirts in the Bay here in Vancouver (where they market them as their premium shirts), as well as Dunn's Tailors. I have one from pre-Style Forum era. Nice looking fabric, but wrinkles quickly and huge in the body and arms. Now that I understand fit better, I won't be buying any others. I vaguely recall they are in the $120-150 CDN range, but I could be mistaken.

Harold's underbought dress shirts last year and bought some of that brand as filler. I bought one of the patterned dress shirts after major markdown ($29 or $39). Not a bad shirt, but certainly nothing special.
