Hell no. Would you even look at that tie in a store if it wasn't made by Kiton? Quality of construction doesn't matter when it looks like the bastard child of a Regis tie and Etro...Kiton, 4-fold (I think), self-tipped. Â Worth it on sale for $100?
I hate to pile on, but I don't like it either...PHV is being a lot more blunt than I am, but he has the same opinion I do. Â It's not hideous, but the color/design is kind of "blah," and there's no life to it, and I certainly don't see anything that would compel me to pay $100, regardless of construction. Â I hope this is a prospective purchase and not an already-made one, so I don't have to feel bad saying that.
I, by contrast, quite like to pile on.I hate to pile on, but I don't like it either...
Nice way of expressing it, tdial. Luc, don't fear the paisley. ÂIt's not terrible if it's about your 40th tie in your collection. But for $100, it should be in your top 10.
Damn ugly. If it didn't have the Kiton tag, I'd say it was an el cheapo from the 1950s. But then 98% of kiton ties are ugly.
