Kiton suit with... patch pockets??

Patch pockets can work on suits made from more casual fabrics. Personally I dislike them on more formal fabrics. From that photo on my laptop, neither can I make out whether there are patch pockets nor whether the material is too dressy for them (though it looks like it may be).

I think iammatt specifies patch pockets on his suits (apologies if I've mixed members up), and it generally works well with the fabrics he chooses as well as the more relaxed style he has anyway.

I specify them on sportcoats, but not suits other than very casual (linen) ones. Sometimes in pics they look patch because the front dart goes all the way to the bottom hem.

I don't like them here, but they can look good on a suit. I have certainly seen good examples.

I too like path pockets on casual sportcoat, also for me, I like patch breast pocket with side patch packets.

I especially like them on a grey fresco 4X2 DB suit jacket. In fact I like it so much, I have one.
