Both are are for sale by SF members for about the same price. Both are my size.

I think they are both beautiful and I like them both for different reasons.

So, weigh in with your opinion to help me decide and if you have one or the other, feedback is great!

By the way, either one will be for summer wear.

The shoulders on both violate the SF Paradigm. Pass!

I would also pass on both. But if I had to choose, I would go for number 1. I can imagine some nice summer looks using that jacket...

Make sure to wear white pants and a Panama hat with it!

Cashmere for summer?

How hot is your summer? Cashmere is warm.

Don't worry about seasional wear I think #2 is a very versatile coat and that is a very good price for Kiton. If the measurements are ok for you then just get it. I have 2 kiton cashmere s/c and they just feel beautiful to wear. In fact if that was a 40R I'd be seriously tempted even though I'm overloaded with s/c's.

#1 look's ok from a distance but up close not for me.

It's not about the material alone but about the weight of the cloth. I have seen great cashmere summer jackets. Still I can't tell if nr. 1 in this thread is a summer jacket... don't know why the summer connotation leaped into my mind. Maybe because the sun is shining outside...

Yes, that's why I asked what climate Patek is in. One of my Kiton's is a very fine lightweight cashmere, fully lined. As we had a mild summer in Melbourne I managed to wear it on a couple of low 20C. days, however i would be uncomfortable in 25C or over, and don't think you could get a lighter, finer cashmere although unlined (or part) could be a bit different.

Neither. I received so much negative feedback on both. I love the colors of the first one, but now that everyone pointed out the shoulders, I'm having second thoughts...

Good question.
