just received new VASS shoes

To forum members,

just received a second pair of vass shoes. Order/delivery process seamless and the wait was around 4-6 mo (I forget). Wonderful finish and craftsmanship.

In that last and that color, they look no different than the Allen Edmonds Mora. I don't like Vass's round toe lasts as I think the overall shoe looks chunky and shapeless. I do like the Vass U last monk strap shoe.

Lobb makes several double monks, which are you asking about. I like them all.

Look good to me - although, like the others I don't understand why they arrived with a less-than-perfect shine. Should be easy to fix, however.

I have to agree with Ed, I think they look underwhelming. I'm sure they're awesome in real life, but these pics wouldnt elicit such admiration if we didnt know they were Vass.

For example, Diorshoe's Vass he's selling (2 red pairs) really look awesome in photos, which must mean they look stellar IRL

Better quality Moras but just as chunky...
