Really looks nice. Can't wait.
Sorry. Brain freeze: http://store1.yimg.com/I/mistershop_1847_7384186
Looks like my grandfather's bowling shirt with a tag from a pair of Zanella pants.
Looks like my grandfather's bowling shirt with a tag from a pair of Zanella pants. bachbeet, take that as a compliment, retro is in Â
A contrarian view... Sean Connery as James Bond in Thunderball, worn with matching trousers.
I don't know from where the hate for this shirt comes. I think it looks great. It looks very breezy for wicked summer humidity.
That is a cool shirt and will look great for casual wear. What a nice change from the bold island shirts that are out there.
Well, it looks nothing like a bowling shirt. It's a good royal blue color. And, yes, it will look nice for casual wear. Zanella does NOT make cheap tacky stuff. Here's the description: http://mistershop.com/zashro.html
If you like that shirt (style and color), you might keep your eye out for a German shirtmaker, "Signum."
I was kind of kidding when I wrote what I wrote. I'm just not at all used to seeing that Zanella tag on shirts.
I thought the consensus on this forum was to boo the Homer Simpson look of short-sleeved button-downs (western shirts are an exception).
I'd say this is more of a sports shirt, as opposed to a dress shirt, which does look bad in short sleeves. I have a bunch of shirts like this one, mainly in linen and thinner cotton, for the warm summer months. I love that casual, Cuban look, as long as Castro isn't breathing down my neck.
