Cast 2 Neros should be coming in today.. Kinda nervous since i went TTS and everyone here is talking about how JE denim stretches so much
Matters how you like your denim. If you want them to be pretty tight always then I'd size down. If you like your distressed denim a little loose you'll likely be ok. And if worst comes to worst and you like how they initially fit and they end up bagging out just throw them in the dryer.

I like em tight, out of my hands now I suppose we'll see!

If you are sizing down by 2, you never knew your right size. Go by the measurements. Get whatever fits your needs. Add in the bit of stretch. I recommend going with the size that feels a bit tight when you first put them on

Now this has got me questioning the quality of JE denim.. What denim stretches out 2 whole sizes?
I explained this a few pages ago. Personally, I'm a size 31 and 159lbs, so pretty skinny. 31 was fine until I was swimming in the waist. 30 was better but the thighs stretched and looked sloppy, but no belt needed. 29 stretched out perfectly everywhere.

@JR nubucks look good. Still not sold on them, but you and grant basically screwed me over to take the leap and grab onto them. I grabbed the last 10..hoping Barneys had inventory issues and I receive a "sorry sold out" email bc I really do not need those sneaks right now.

And your fit looks solid. Simple fits like that always look the best

This exactly. I used to always buy a size 30 in other brands and it would stretch too big after time (not sized properly). Went with JE in a 28 and it was perfect... so technically i sized down two sizes but i didn't properly know my size. Measured my waist and it's a 29 so in fact sizing down one is the way to go

similar situe to me. I think you were just a true 30 the whole time and just didn't know.

If you don't have any thighs then go ahead and size down however many sizes

But sometimes my waist can be swimming while my thighs can't even get the damn jeans on.

Be careful. And this is coming from a skinny guy.....who ran track. So Lil more thigh meat than the normal frail skinny

Same here. I have bigger thighs and calves than normal and go TTS on JE denim. I use a belt when the waist stretches but at least I can fit my keys in my pockets.

Damn I love the silhouette of those lows, I think they'd work better for me than Achilles for sure. Thanks for the fit pic! Always killin it

I really like the silhouette on the lows, it's a little bit wider than CP's but we're talking by a fraction of an inch. I know the white and pinks are up for sale around the web. I'd definitely scoop a pair if you can swing it.

My thighs aren't massive even though I run but I like the slighty looser fit in the thighs too. Rather wear a belt and feel comfortable vs skin tight.

For me to get a skin tight fit I have to get a size 26 in slp jeans. I don't like how they feel though.
