how deep are the pockets? will it fit a normal-sized (no XL) phone comfortably?

If they’re like the practice shorts then shallow pockets. One thing I don’t like about the practice shorts.

I think we are looking for the fit of the shorts more so the material. Can’t really go off the model pics.

I would assume they’d fit similar to practice shorts but slightly shorter. Maybe not but def curious because I held off for now.

Sorry to keep y'all waiting. I was slammed at work today. I ordered a small + medium in the AAU Shorts. I'm sticking with the medium. For reference, I wear a small in Game + Practice shorts and a medium in all JE sweatpants. I absolutely love these shorts. I can't wait to wear them in Miami in two days. These are the perfect summer shorts. Thank you for listening to us and producing solid color shorts!

The practice short pockets aren’t always shallow in my experience. My duck club army ones can hardly fit my phone. My mariposa and midnight bloom ones are manageable.
