I did it so the collar layered cleaner under my non raglan thermal from a few years back

I know some of you guys are halfway joking about them looking like something you’d find at h&m but anyone that’s not aware of JE is gonna be thinking exactly that.
They’ll fall out of their seat if you tell them they were $448.
To the causal, no amount of nexskin and layering of materials is gonna matter because they aren’t reading a description box they just see a mesh trainer.
I think the problem is similar to the first leather/nubuck highs and lows where they priced them right in line with other well established offerings.
I didn’t give them a real consideration because of that. Ended up picking them up on sale and to this day they are my favorite footwear. You don’t have to over think the fit because they go with everything.

Dude those thermals from Standard Issue we talked about a while back are prob my favorite thing I've copped in the last year (aside from the structure crew). Good looking out on the recommendation.

Glad to hear! One of my favorite pieces too. Soft and heavy.
