JE Family.
I’m in LA and looking for a size 7.5 men’s Brand New John Elliott AF-1.
I will pay more than resale value.
7 men’s I’d take as well.

Anyone have them or have any leads? Flight club is closed, Rif doesn’t have them. Cool Kicks doesn’t have them.

Thanks All!

Contacted Descente. Feeling confident that they’ll do a repair, even if it cost me half the price of the jacket I’m ok with that. But it has got me thinking, why was the material sooooo paperery whispy thin? My other jackets are either gortex or a thick canvas quilted type fabric and have been brutalized for years by my dgaf lifestyle. Bias aside, I’m realizing this is the thinnest top layer jacket material I’ve owned. I know it’s a JE Descente collab but I feel like I’m starting to realize that my only JE items that haven’t withered to pieces quickly are Ts, Jeans, shoes and swearers (crews/hoodies)

Regardless, that jacket was like being hugged by thick insulated clouds that feel so good on the skin. A perfect minimalist item. Just throw on a T, some denim and that jacket and you’re good to go. The pragmatic minimalist ethos that made me love JE in the first place.

Glad it worked out.

Unrelated, but what items withered away quickly?

Socks, sweats all got holes and where the pockets are, they’re peeling off. All my basketball shorts are loosing their luster and sheen after a few washes compared to cheaper adidas shorts I’ve been wearing for years and years. The knit sweaters all developed holes quickly compared to other knit sweaters I’ve abused via camping, traveling and heavy wear.

All my mainline stuff has held up tremendously well though. Those rugby tanks I’ve had for a few summers and SUPER abused them. They’re falling apart but I can still throw them in the wash and wear them.
