Is the John Lobb Jermyn II a current model shoe that can be ordered? Can a person be too old for a pair of shoes such as these? Thank you.

Postscript: any pictures of the Jermyn II most appreciated.

I don't believe they are in the current catalog, however Wilkes Bashford in San Francisco sells them. I tried a pair on a few days ago. When I asked them how they pulled this off they said that it was due to a "special relationship" with Lobb. Interestingly, they do not sell the Vale, which I believe is the "replacement" model for the Jermyn II. They do sell the Chapel, which is the new double buckle monk.

Pics of the Jermyn II can be found in the Shoe Pictorial sticky on this forum.

Around $1500 USD plus tax. A very nice shoe tree is included which dulls the pain a bit.

Beautiful, beautiful shoes. Are these the Burgundy?

Did you get them recently? If so, do you mind saying where you found them?

Thanks.

Thanks. They're dark oak calf. I think I got them from Nick.
