I found about 5 of these in a Goodwill in the Sandy Springs suburb of Atlanta. Is this an actual company or a store brand? I looked all over the Internet for these and I could not find anything. Of course am familiar with and own shirts by Turnbull & Asser, Thomas Pink, etc. They all had spread collar, MOP buttons, French cuffs, gusetts and a spilt yoke. They seemed to be made pretty good. To me it looks like an exact copy of a Thomas Pink. Any thoughts?

Yes, I bought all five of them for $4 each. I just got them back fro the cleaners this morning. I am at a loss for who actually makes these shirts.

I seem to recall the brand from, perhaps, the early '90s or earlier. Seems they were known as kind of olde worlde gimmicky dandyish RTW - two detachable collars with each matching a single colour of the shirt body check or stripe, detatchable french cuffs, or some such novelty. I think the gimmicky ones were more expensive than Pink, less than T&A. A glance at the innerwebtz was not enlightening.

They were sold from a shop on Piccadilly, now a branch of Highlands, the spivvy Barbour retailer staffed by moronic immigrants.

I do like the shirts and they are in great condition, no signs of wear. And they see to be exact copies of Thomas Pink shirts. Do you know what they retailed for?

IIRC, they were made by Glenaden (who made shirts for Thomas Pink and bought the Coles brand) and were priced around £40 to £50.
