The pair I've found are €300 less than those.

I can understand, they have reached overly high prices recently. It's a lovely passion though, collecting them.

Leidmann has regularly higher prices here in Europe, but €300 less is a lot: is that pair new?

Leidmann is the worst. They regularly have at least 100e higher prices, but they also started adding "tax" for non-german countries in EU (lol?) which adds additional 40eur to the price. This practice is also illegal according to one EU-legal website. Their customer service is also unresponsive, althogh they have whatsapp chat button integrated to their website.

They are the last resort for sold out models unfortunately. For newer models it's better to source them somewhere in EU for 200-300e less as someone mentioned.

I'm in the market for JMM opticals, tried on the Julien Havana 5 which I really loved. I was thinking of adding a tint to the lenses. What do you reckon would be a good match with this frame?

I tried on a pair of tinted eyeglasses at the store and found it very comfortable for computer use among other things

I love the idea but I reckon I could get my “du” to replicate them at a fraction of the JMM cost.

Hahaha, you read my mind, @Thin White Duke! I am actually more impressed with the jewelry from this collection than the eyewear. Both the silver Natrona ring and bracelet are gorgeous.





HOWEVER, not $1K and $2.5K gorgeous; definitely not in! No shade to anyone who will buy these, it's just way out of my price-comfort zone.

Not a bad idea to see if a local artist could create something similar. If you do go for that, keep us posted!

I also wish that JMM would sell the cleaning cloths separately...
