I wrote about this in my journal, will copy paste later. In general the order of awesome to not so awesome would be Thailand, Vietnam, Laos/Cambodia, Ladakh/Far North India, Hong Kong, Mainland India

I actually find them more tolerable than Westerners, except for the ones who are out to scam you all the time. Those guys are the most annoying people on Earth, but you learn to ignore them.

They mostly eat rice, but a lot of dishes obviously include noodles which are pretty much pasta. I prefer the noodle dishes to the rice dishes. Rice noodles for the ultra-win.

Vietnamese people generally do not eat kimchi, as it is Korean.
