Is this Etro shirt just too much?

I'm just starting to doubt my own judgement. On the one hand, I know the fit and quite like the colour scheme. On the other hand, I'm not really one for ostentatious clothing, and I'm thinking this shirt stands out too much. Thoughts?

When it comes to Etro, if you're unsure whether it's too much, it almost certainly is.

I tend to think etro has lost its way. I seem to remember they had lots of nice, more subtle shirts in ~2002 or so... possibly before too... I wouldn't know though.

I agree with that - this could look very cool under a jacket.

And I appreciate the wide varigated stripes. It sets this piece apart from the typical Nick Lachey-Dane Cook striped shirts.

i also agree this could be worn beneath a jacket. if you look at the pattern it doesn't start to get real crazy toward the sides and sleeves anyway.
