Is AE Clifton ok for law interview?

I'm wondering if Allen Edmonds Clifton in black is appropriate for a law interview. I realize that bluchers aren't supposed to be worn with suit, but to my eyes the Clifton seems rather dressy for a blucher. Plus I don't know how many people actually know that rule. Thanks in advance for your help.

Not only will you not get the job, but they may sue you.

Nah. No point in suing someone without any money.

And they may also pass your profile around to other law firms. You're done in [whatever city you're seeking work in]

OP, you'll be more than fine.

Those will be great interview shoes. I doubt your interviewer will notice or even be able to tell a blucher from an oxford.

I was unaware that you couldn't wear bluchers with suits. What is the deal with that, could someone elaborate?

If I were interviewing you, I'd be impressed that you bothered wearing a nice shoe like an AE.

It's in the iGent handbook.

Most already-employed lawyers wear uglier, less appropriate shoes.
