Ironing Jcrew 100 percent cotton suits?

First cotton suit from Jcrew came in, care label states 100 percent cotton, dry clean only and no iron...

Its very wrinkled out of the box...

Isn't that how J. Crew is supposed to be worn?? :p

Try steaming it or hanging it in your bathroom when you shower. You can probably turn the trousers inside out and iron on low heat / no steam without a problem. Not sure how you might approach the jacket, though....

Best idea would be to return and get wool.

Cotton suits tend to be worn in a fairly shambolic appearance so don't worry. Just put on and wear, most wrinkles will fall out quickly and it will just look like a lived in cotton suit.

+1. At least for odd jackets I like the dishevelled look.
