Funny, stumbling across this thread. I have been lucky enough to have obtained "The Squire" only to have my 5 year old son get sick all over it while we were at a Christmas performance, followed by my wife throwing it into the washing machine to make sure it was ruined. I say I was lucky because, after the destruction of my favorite coat, I was able to acquire an identical coat that had less wear than the original on e-bay. I only wish I had remove the buttons from the original before my wife threw it away.

I look forward to seeing the new designs and/or old resurrections Mr. Graham and Invertere have in-store for us.

That is fantastic news, indeed!!

Really, really, really good...Wow!!

Please, please tell me that you are still manufacturing the Classic, Invertere soft- shoulder Duffle coats and corduroy Buffercoats to those same cuts and specs, using the same quality materials as they were made originally...

I really hope that you haven`t changed anything, and that original Invertere coats are ,still, just that: i.e. same as the ORIGINAL`s.

Please, please, please, god forbid any "updating", or , indeed, ...ahem..."improving" of the very Classic Invertere coat models.

I`ll look forward to "watching this space"

Thank you...

I have an Inveterre bright orange gaberdine jacket with orange and brown 100% wool jacket. This was my husbands it is in excellent condition and he loved it dearly, unfortunately he no longer has any use for it, reason for my comment I could find little trace of Inveterre when I googled the name but by chance stumbled across a small link. I am going to put it on ebay to see what it fetches, might get a nice surprise this jacket is superior quality.

A 34" duffel coat measuring pit-to-pit at 40" sounds about right for a "proper" duffel coat. It's meant to be somewhat loose and pit-to-pit 4-6" for a 34" is about right. I measure 44" around the chest and find top coats pit-to-pit of 50" about right.
