While Googling about for linen XL ties, I found the website for Mountain & Sackett and discovered a remarkable set of products:

7-fold, halfway-decent silk (at least the woven repps-- the print comes out a little limp), a very classic set of patterns, available (mostly) in two lengths. Mine just came today, and I'm looking forward to getting a lot of use from them.

Just ordered the checkered one on your recommendation. It helps that it's a cause close to my own heart. Really a $72 donation with a discount, quality tie thrown in

I'm wearing the navy twill with all-over woven pattern today.

Best repeat the qualification on the silk-- it is OK but doesn't appear to be the very finest. But way better than what normally passes for use in "affinity ties."

Wear in good health, and my best to everyone else with a stake in the matter.

Good find, I have a good friend who's son is affected by this issue. I'll be picking one of these up for support.
