+1. It's night and day. The other possibilities you mention, I may need to revoke my still-warm membership.

Mafoo has a pretty fantastic smile. While I think smiling for every WAYWN is kind of cheesy, I believe mixing it up every once and a while would be quite a refreshing change.

Very nice pics--you and your bride look fantastic.

And the tie was a good choice. The narrow range of traditional wedding ties can be a bit limiting so you did well not to feel constrained by the rules in this case.

(And I'm not just saying that because I have no plans to go with a wedding tie at my nuptials.)

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Unfortunately, I can't smile on cue--I guess I never developed that kind of muscle control. I just wanted to show what it looks like when I wear Rubinacci naturally. It's not at all board-stiff like one might infer from my regular photos.

Congratulations again. My favorite is the one where you're toasting, raising your hand and your coat is still sitting nicely on your neck and shoulders. I want that.

But I wonder: why is the cloth puckering in this photo? None of your other shots of this jacket show anything like this. It looks great in the others, but I'm confused on this one.

She's a close friend from childhood--and she's not from New Jersey. It was my mistake not to blur out faces in the earlier photos. Would you guys do me a favor and confine mocking comments to yours truly? Thanks!

Huh. You mean the rippling around the torso? I dunno. I never thought anything was wrong with it.

I'm guessing it's that rock-solid, gutsy Harrison's Premier Cru fabric.

Or the sumptuously supple suppleness of the underyling canvas.

Perhaps you could ask your wife to take some action shots of you heading out the door to add to your frontal pictures that you're notorious for...

No, it seems to me like there is rippling on the outer edge of the lapel and also some at the shoulder seam. It does not appear on any of the close-ups, however. Maybe it's just an artifact of the photography; I don't know.

Ha! But I would expect MR to be able to deal with that, no? Aren't the Italian tailors experts with lighter fabrics?

I think iammatt said he had a suit of the same cloth. I wonder if he's had a similar issue.

It's not the lightness of the cloth. It's the suckitude. It's 11 ounces. I have 8 ounce cloth that performs better. I have cotton that performs better.

/bitterness.

Why bitter? You're no channeling your feelings about the election at me, are you?
