ID the maker of these shoes (BB + N&L) w/ Photos

Why? Changing the nail pattern in the heel is very simple, and I would surprise me greatly if it couldn't be done for the right price, just like channeling the soles, doing hand-written interior markings instead of machine-stamped ones, and using a full-length sock liner.

In any event, as bengal-stripe posted above, it is possible that the shoes have been re-heeled.

Yeah. C&J uses the 248 for Peal shoes.
