***Updated with more information***

I am able to get a bunch of pretty nice David Chu suits. Below are details on the suits and sizes I can get. All have unfinished sleeves and hems--I don't believe buttons for the sleeve come with the suit. Price per suit would be $399 shipped in the U.S. and Canada. Overseas will be extra.

Light grey 85/15 wool/kid mohair blend. This is the same suit STP is selling. 2 button, side vents. Flat front pants. Morgan II model. Originally $1095. This is a great summer suit, and I would get it in my size if I could. I can get:
40R, 42S, 42R, 42L, 44R, 46R, 45L, 48R

Black nailhead (?) 85/15 wool/kid mohair blend. STP also has this suit. 3 roll 2 button (3 roll 2.5 as button hole back doesn't show). Nice roll. Side vents. Ticket pocket. Flat front pants. Morgan III model. Originally $1095. I can get:
38S (fit me pretty well and I'm 5'10" usually a regular), 42L, 46L

Light brown mini houndstooth 85/15 wool/kid mohair blend. 3 button that can be worn 3/2 I think. side vents. Double forward pleats with adjusters, no loops. Originally $1095. I can get:
40S, 40R, 42S, 42R, 44R, 46R, 48R

Grey with purple and white stripes. 100% wool. Two button, side vents and purple lining. Flat front pants. Morgan II model. Nice fabric. Originally $1195. I can get:
42R, 42L, 44R

I'd be interested. Solid Blue is my preference but I would like to see the grey striped if possible, No ticket pocket

I have updated the first post with pictures and more information. The navy blue had some shop wear so they're not available at this time. Maybe later if I can get them for less, but not now.

There are suits available in a huge range of sizes, including

38S, 40S, 40R, 42S, 42R, 42L, 44R, 46R, 46L, 48R

I'm wondering how thick it would be? I'd be interested in a 42" if you think the pants could manage a 3-4" waist reduction. Definitely be interested in the navy suit, especially if you could wrangle it for less.

Because of the kid mohair it has a dry, somewhat "scratchy" hand. It is a spring/summer weight suit. Should breathe pretty well I guess. I like the color of the material a lot and think it would be a pretty versatile suit in the summer.

I'm not a tailor so can't say for sure. 3" seems like a large, but not terribly unreasonable pant size reduction to me, but I've never had trousers taken in that much. Chu trousers tend to run about 1" above the size, so a 32R trouser will usually have a 33" waist.

I figured as much. I looked like it had that linen feel. Sounds like a good fit for our weather.

Thanks for the info on Chu's sizing. I think I'll be able to swing it. Let me know when/if you get the suits in. Also, what was wrong with the navy suit that made it unsellable?

So a 42R? I can probably get it today if you want one.

The navy seemed to be shedding. Hard to explain, but it looked like small threads coming through the fabric or off the fabric where it had rubbed against other suits.

I have the light grey suit and it makes for a great summer suit. The material has a nice light feel to it and the color is quite sharp.

No need to rush out on my account. If you pick up others then grab the 42. Incidentally, how do the Chu suits fit? True to size, slim, etc.?
