How much pink is too much? And critique the pocket square/combo.

I tend to like pink and purples. They work well (for the most part) with my skin, but how much is too much? And is the pocket square too close to the tie?

If you can't see it in the pic, the shirt is white with pink.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

Actually, the square doesn't look right with the tie IMO, only because it is a peach shade while the tie has a fuschia/purply shade of pink. And the knot is waaaaaay too big. And in fact, no offense, but I really don't like that tie.

Apologies for brutal honesty. Chacun a son gout, as they say.

I think the tie is too much no matter what color we`re talking about (pink, blue, green).

That is just my personal taste though.

Actually, I think the worst part of the mix is the jacket. A tweed jacket doesn't fit with this at all.

I'd go with a red textured tie and white linen square instead. Would balance it out far better even considering your skin tone.

Could we get a better shot of the shirt though, just to be safe?

I think the coarse fabric of the jacket clashes with the smooth textures of the pocket square and tie.

I don't think you've ever refrained from recommending a white linen square.

I hate to pile on but I have to agree with the others that one of what you have works together; jacket, tie or square.

That said, the tie is a bit much.

I think the outfit looks OK. IMHO it would look better with a white pocket square, or perhaps something containing yellow / gold to match the tie better.

Yup

I agree here because of the tweed jacket. Perhaps a knit tie would be best. For some reason they're about the only tie I like with tweed.
