I had a whole jacket relined recently including the arms and it took 2.5 meters, so 2 would probably do you fine. But then again does the suit have a pattern? You need more fabric for a suit with a pattern so that could throw off your whole fabric to lining ratio.

You need to know the width of the lining. Can be 45", 54" or 60" wide. 2 yards is safe for the 54 or 60, 2 1/2" if you have 45 or narrower. You are average size so this should cover it.
