how do you wear your slip ons?

Do you wear them with socks or without? If you wear them with socks do your socks show? What kind of socks do you wear them with? I'm trying to figure out how to wear them without my socks showing.

during the warmer months, i go no socks. when it gets colder, i wear a variety of solid and patterned socks (usually charcoal wool/cotton for solids and horizontal stripe and argyle for patterns). choice of socks also depends on what im wearing usually.

i never wear white tube socks b/c my socks do show when i sit down

How does it look? Are those socks like the kinds that you would find at Banana Republic for example?

I hate shorts. My legs are too white for them. If I do wear shorts I try to stick to sandals because there's nothing worse than having your legs match your socks.

I almost always wear them sans socks, both with shots and pants. When it gets really cold in the winter time, I usually wear some sort of argyle sock in dark colors. White is to obvious when you sit down.

No socks in summer. I like to wear dress socks with slip-ons. Never athletic socks.
